By the way, my name is Don Johnson. I am the host and author of this website, along with the creator of the course material that is being developed and will be offered to you to learn even more nuances of this particular niche.

I, like you, love the field of real estate. My start was back in November 1985 while I was watching TV around Thanksgiving time. It was late night and infomercials just began to enter our airwaves. I saw a guy talk about real estate in a way I had never heard it before, even though I had family members that actually bought and sold property, but that was business and pretty much hush hush conversation.

That man was Robert G. Allen, the author of “Nothing Down”. He, and his course, have been the single most influential things in my life.

It literally changed the entire direction I was heading back in 1985. Buying real estate was for older, experienced and well to do people back then, the mere idea that I could somehow buy real estate with little or even no money out of pocket was something no one in my family talked about and it really lit my candle.

So, like you, I started down the path and into the world of real estate investing, or as it’s widely known today, REI. Fast forward to today and after getting an Associates degree in Real Estate, becoming a Licensed Real Estate Broker, as well as a Licensed Real Estate School Instructor (both are still active licenses today), and my journey has taken me to where I started, except as the Teacher/Mentor … but … I’m forever a Student too.

So let’s get started. We’ll learn and share together what does and what doesn’t work in this niche of Florida based real estate investing. OH … I might go off topic sometimes, because after all there’s more than one way to filet a deal. Let my 37 years in real estate benefit you.
